Pro Sports Management is a consulting and management company that organizes and delivers more than just sporting events.  We specialize in leagues, tournaments, event rentals, leadership and team building programs. We do all aspects of an event leaving the fun to the participants.  Pro Sports Management has the ability to provide:;

Pro Sports specializes in the "festival-ization" of events.  This takes a routine sporting event and transforms it into a program with "wow" factor.  These types of events have great sport logistics along with delicious food, beer gardens, vendor booths, product sampling, live entertainment, digital media recording and more.  The result is an exciting day that is very popular with athletes, fans, sponsors, and organizing committees.  To achieve this goal, the Pro Sports Management organization has multiple divisions to deliver a top notch event.  These include:

WHO WE ARE

Tim Simpson (owner) was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.  He studied at Acadia and Queen’s Universities and played varsity soccer.  Tim taught high school for 31 years and was a team leader both in and out of the classroom.  In his sports event planning experience, he has organized 6 northern Ontario basketball championships, developed and ran 2 youth club basketball leagues, organized numerous closing banquets for several leagues and tournaments, and has run basketball camps for over 20 summers.  In 2001, he took over the convener-ship of the Tomahawk Basketball tournament and developed it into a two-day, 95 team tournament played in 10 gymnasiums. The Tomahawk was the largest two day high school tournament in North America.  As a coach, Tim had a.730 win percentage and brought his team to the championships final 27 out of 28 years.  He coached soccer, football, volleyball, and track and field.  Tim’s major role in Pro Sports Management is event development and logistics.  He is gifted in the areas of being a visionary and seeing the potential of events.  Tim is the go-to guy when it is time to find solutions to challenging situations.  He is a gifted public speaker and helps develop meaningful corporate PD opportunities. In 2017 Tim was the tournament play coordinator for the World Dodgeball Championships held at the Pan Am Center in Markham. Tim developed the National Dodgeball Festival from vision to the larges dodgeball event in the world with over 185 teams playing over 800 matches on 16 courts over three days. This is held each May in Barrie Ontario. If your event is big or small Tim has the experience to make your event a success.

Julie Charette (Event Planner) Julie is a gifted event planner and an operations manager at some of our largest events. Her interpersonal skills and ability to speak two languages make her a fan favourite of the Pro Sports staff. Julie has worked for the Government as a civilian in the Department of National Defence and today she is a gifted peer working with military families at OSSIS. Julie is a regular host of our Wacky Game Show and a fantastic operations manager.

Satellite Operations - The Pro Sports Management base of operations is in North Bay, Ontario however satellites are now running in Barrie.  We are proud to partner with fantastic event planners in these great cities to bring lots of fun, exciting, and unique sporting events.

Charitable Foundations - Pro Sports Management is please worked in conjunction with the Canadian Cancer Society.  A portion of our proceeds from events goes toward Breast Cancer research.
